Job summary

Winixx Inc. in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to manage the cloud infrastructure that supports internal business systems — including data pipelines and BI platforms — ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency across our cloud environment.

You will optimize costs, enforce security, and collaborate with the DevOps team across AWS and GCP, with a hybrid remote-friendly environment and opportunities to contribute to 30+ SaaS products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud operations or cloud engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AWS or GCP including compute, storage, networking, and IAM.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong cloud security knowledge including IAM, encryption, and audit logging.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and FinOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting internal business systems on AWS or GCP.
• Administer cloud-based SaaS integrations and data pipeline infrastructure.
• Monitor cloud costs and implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls including IAM policies, encryption, and audit logging.
• Support the DevOps team on shared infrastructure components and cross-functional cloud initiatives.
• Manage cloud backups, disaster recovery configurations, and business continuity infrastructure.
• Respond to cloud infrastructure incidents and participate in on-call rotation.
• Document cloud architecture and maintain runbooks for operational procedures.
