The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT security, hands-on SIEM experience (Splunk, Sentinel or Elastic), and familiarity with SOC 2 and cloud security. This hybrid role offers growth across 30+ SaaS products and a nationwide remote-friendly environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of IT security analysis or information security experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, or Elastic SIEM.
• Experience with endpoint detection and response tools.
• Strong understanding of attack vectors and threat mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and cloud security frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
• Strong written communication for incident documentation and policy writing.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT; Security+ or equivalent certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Monitor SIEM alerts, security logs, and threat intelligence feeds for signs of malicious activity.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assist with penetration testing coordination.
• Manage and tune security tooling including EDR, SIEM, and email security platforms.
• Respond to security incidents including investigation, containment, and post-incident documentation.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training for Winixx employees.
• Assist with SOC 2 compliance requirements and security audit preparation.
• Review and update IT security policies and procedures on a regular cadence.
• Collaborate with the engineering security team on cross-functional security initiatives.
