Job summary

Massachusetts Teachers’ Retirement System (MTRS) is seeking a Network & System Administrator to maintain and secure an enterprise infrastructure supporting ~125 staff. You will manage Citrix DaaS, Nutanix HCI, AWS, and Microsoft 365, while ensuring high availability, security, and compliant operations.

You will work with vendors, produce runbooks, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, CS, or related field required.
• Preferred certifications include: AWS, Nutanix, MS 365 Administrator, CompTIA Security+.
• 5–7 years of hands-on IT experience in systems administration and infrastructure support; experience with Citrix DaaS and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Citrix DaaS environment, including session management and user access.
• Maintain Nutanix HCI cluster health, VM management, and storage.
• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and create/update runbooks and SOPs.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, access management, and vendor SLAs.
