Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Network Infrastructure Engineer to build Amazon Dedicated Cloud regions as part of Infrastructure Operations. You will work to scale network systems, manage capacity, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to keep networks reliable and secure.

The ideal candidate is autonomous, detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and experience with large-scale enterprise networks. US citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of mid-level/enterprise network experience
• BS in Information Systems or CS preferred or equivalent
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA are a plus
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure components

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities
• Manage cabling vendor activities and QA
• Support deployment activities during change windows and assist in migration
• Complete customer requests via ticketing system
• Troubleshoot networking, routing, and inter-connectivity issues; deliver repeatable solutions
• Travel up to 40% or more; possible international travel
