Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Culpeper, VA is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale dedicated cloud regions as part of Infrastructure Operations. You will drive stability, automate networks, and support data center capacity and upgrades.

The ideal candidate has strong network troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with at least 3 years in enterprise networks, and must hold TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience.
• Experience with networking fundamentals.
• US Government security clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project status to leadership and project management.
• Perform device builds and cabling validation.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and QA.
• Support deployment during change management windows; assist in migrations and hardware rollouts.
• Resolve network, routing, and interconnectivity issues; document configurations.
