Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Development Engineer in the Denver, CO area to own and transform networking projects across deployment, scaling, and optimization. You’ll partner with Infrastructure teams to ensure rapid roll-out of new designs and products and deploy ongoing networking software tools.

Required: 4+ years in routing protocols and Linux/Unix environments, a Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications, and strong knowledge of HTTP(S), DNS, TCP/IP, plus Agile/DevOps

Qualifications

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience.
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner).
• Knowledge of networking protocols, to include HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and transform networking projects relating to deployment, implementation, scaling, and/or optimization.
• Partner with AIS and broader Infrastructure teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products.
• Deploy and sustain networking software tools across data centers and edges.
