Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to build dedicated cloud regions and scale our data-center networks. You will help automate, troubleshoot, and document enterprise-grade networks while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

The role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, strong communication skills, and experience with large-scale networks. Expect up-front client engagement, project coordination, and potential international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical work experience or Bachelor's degree in a technical program.
• Current, active US Government Security clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
• Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
• Manage cabling vendor activities and perform quality assurance.
• Support network engineering deployment during change management windows and assist in migration/ rollout of hardware.
• Process customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and interconnect issues; deliver repeatable solutions and processes.
• Travel within the area up to 40%; may include international travel; handle small project scopes.
