Job summary

Leidos in North Alabama is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, deploy, and secure complex hybrid-cloud networks. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud networking services, Kubernetes integration, and SDN/secure routing across domains.

You will configure multicast traffic, implement policy enforcement, and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible. You will collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams, producing runbooks and documentation while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
Experience designing restricted/compliant networks and securing inter-domain communication.
Hands-on cloud networking with VPCs, VNets, peering, and transit gateways.
Linux OS experience.
Ability to work onsite in North Alabama.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy secure networks with restricted inter-domain routes.
Implement segmentation, access controls, and policy enforcement across cloud and on‑prem.
Build and manage cloud networking infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Configure multicast UDP and broadcast UDP for high throughput apps.
Integrate network services with Kubernetes using CNI plugins.
Automate provisioning with IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
Monitor, log, and alert on network health and security events.
Collaborate with security, DevOps, and apps teams; produce runbooks and docs.
