Job summary

CohesionForce is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer in Huntsville, AL to design, implement, and operate secure, high-performance networks spanning on-premises data centers, clouds, and enclave-based domains.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on cloud networking expertise, SDN experience, and Kubernetes networking with CNI plugins. The role is primarily on-site with customer sites in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering/science/tech degree with relevant experience or higher degrees.
• Hands-on cloud networking experience (VPCs, VNets, peering, transit gateways).
• Experience with SDN and hardware-defined networking; Kubernetes networking via CNI is required.
• Ability to design restricted/compliant networks and enforce inter-enclave routing; strong security posture.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure networks across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Architect and configure restricted networks and secure inter-domain routes.
• Implement network segmentation, access controls, and policy enforcement across cloud/on-prem resources.
• Build and manage cloud networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Configure and troubleshoot multicast UDP and broadcast UDP traffic for high-throughput apps.
• Deploy SDN platforms and integrate with Kubernetes via CNI plugins.
• Enable hybrid cloud integration and secure remote enclave connectivity.
• Automate provisioning with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and monitor health and security events.
• Produce clear documentation and runbooks for network solutions.
