Job summary

Peraton seeks a seasoned Cloud Architect/Engineer to design and deliver cloud-native solutions for government missions. You will design resilient architectures, develop RESTful APIs with Java Spring Boot or Python, and deploy containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, data pipelines, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack; a TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong Java (Spring Boot) or Python development
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and REST APIs
• Experience building and managing data processing pipelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes internals and orchestration
• Experience deploying cloud-native applications

Responsibilities
