Job summary

Peraton is seeking an engineer to design, develop, automate, and sustain cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD environments supporting mission-critical applications across AWS and Kubernetes. This role emphasizes highly automated, scalable development and deployment pipelines while working with modern cloud technologies.

The candidate will use Terraform, Packer, Maven, and GitLab runners to build and maintain automated pipelines; TS/SCI clearance is required to support this national security

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph required.
• Six (6) years of Configuration Management experience on programs of comparable scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline, or four (4) years of additional relevant CM experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience authoring, documenting, and utilizing IaC with Terraform.
• Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, automation, and sustainment of cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD environments.
• Maintain highly automated, scalable, and reliable development and deployment environments across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Work with Maven for dependency management and build pipelines.
• Automate configuration management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Build and manage CI pipelines using Packer in CI workflows.
• Deploy and maintain autoscaling fleets of GitLab runners.
