The role requires expertise in Java, microservices, REST APIs, and modern CI/CD practices, with strong communication skills to collaborate with product stakeholders and engineering peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• 5 years' experience in design and programming large-scale applications.
• Proven track record delivering complex features end-to-end.
• 2 years mentoring engineers in cross-functional squads.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT, and microservices.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• 3 years experience consuming LLM APIs or integrating AI features.
• Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
• 3 years with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent teamwork and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing evaluation (test) of feature design and performance risks.
• Distill requirements into actionable implementation tasks.
• Develop features with best practices aligned to product architecture.
• Ensure unit tests, automation, throughput, security, and performance.
• Ensure designs meet stakeholder requirements for operations and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead technical implementation decisions and feature delivery.
• Identify and resolve feature-related issues; escalate as needed.
• Document guides to onboard new team members; share knowledge.
• Coordinate with partners to maintain productive relationships within Verint.
