Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a senior engineering leader to oversee the design, architecture, and deployment of large-scale cloud-native financial systems in a high-availability environment. You will mentor a team delivering real-time payments processing, gateways, and ISO 20022 integrations while driving roadmaps and regulatory-aligned strategies.

Responsibilities include architecting streaming pipelines with Kafka and Spark, implementing enterprise CI/CD, and ensuring security across AWS deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's with required years of experience in software engineering leadership and cloud-native systems.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Proven track record in architecting high-throughput, real-time payments processing and distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, production observability, and security compliance.
• Experience with data streaming and database sharding for large-scale financial data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, architecture, and deployment of large-scale cloud-native financial systems.
• Lead and mentor engineers to deliver real-time payment and clearing applications.
• Define roadmaps and technical strategies aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Direct payments processing solutions including gateways and ISO 20022 integrations.
• Architect data streaming with Kafka/Spark for low-latency processing.
