Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience owning solution/platform architecture for distributed systems and driving governance.
• Proven background designing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Hands-on cloud-native engineering across multi-cloud/hybrid with AWS expertise.
• Track record building reusable APIs, services, and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to product and engineering teams to deliver outcomes aligned to business priorities.
• Own end-to-end architecture for key initiatives, including target-state designs and APIs.
• Drive architectural decisions across security, resiliency, performance, and cost.
• Translate capabilities into scalable designs, APIs, and data models with non-functional requirements.
• Establish reference architectures and reusable components for faster delivery.
• Partner with product management to shape roadmaps and reduce technical debt.
• Guide solution design across teams and perform design/code reviews for quality.
• Adopt AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
