Job summary

Temporal is seeking a leader to own the Cloud Namespace surface in Temporal Cloud, ensuring customers can provision, configure, operate, and evolve Namespaces safely and efficiently. You’ll partner with engineering to shape systems for placement, provisioning, capacity management, and more, enabling scalable, reliable, and cost-effective namespace services.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping and operating platform/infrastructure products with reliability and cost tradeoffs.
• Ability to translate workload needs into scalable policies, quotas, and defaults.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Cloud Namespace lifecycle for an operator using Temporal Cloud, from provisioning to safe deletion.
• Define and evolve Namespace offerings with clear SLAs, latency, residency, and cost options.
• Own throughput, capacity management, autoscaling, and quotas for Namespaces.
• Drive policies such as placement, replication, and scaling to deliver high performance
• Define and own Namespace APIs and configuration used by customer automation and UI.
