Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Sparks, NV is seeking a Data Center Technician to install and service server hardware, troubleshoot networks, and respond to incidents to keep services running 24/7.

This role requires travel between data centers, flexibility to work days/nights/weekends, and the ability to lift and move equipment as needed. The team supports global cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents affecting service availability.
• Serve as point of contact for internal/external stakeholders and participate in on-call duties.
