Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr's cloud products and infrastructure, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and helping both customers and internal teams resolve platform problems.

You will work with customers, system administrators, and engineering to troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document best practices while contributing to 24/7 operations and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role.
• Strong Linux command-line troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with enterprise networking concepts.
• Background supporting cloud-based or IAAS environments.
• Excellent customer service in high-pressure scenarios.
• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 operations context.
• Fluent English communications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex issues with customers, admins, and engineers.
• Escalate and coordinate resolution efforts for platform problems.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve support processes.
• Respond to inquiries with technical guidance on Vultr products.
• Lead incident analysis, root-cause investigations, and preventive actions.
• Create and maintain internal docs and knowledge base articles.
