Job summary
Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team. You will provide advanced technical support for Vultr’s products and infrastructure, serving as an escalation point for complex issues and supporting customers and internal teams in diagnosing platform-related problems.
You will work closely with customers, system administrators, and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate resolution efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement of
Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise technical support or similar advanced role (3+ years).
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills and CLI proficiency.
- Experience with enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide guidance on Vultr products and services.
- Act as first responder to platform alerts, assess impact and troubleshoot.
- Lead incident analysis, root-cause investigations and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve platform issues and outages.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and support procedures.
- Mentor junior team members and support enterprise customer environments.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as required.
