Job summary

Wizards of the Coast in Renton, WA seeks a Director of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering to lead enterprise AWS migration, cloud platform services, and FinOps governance. You will drive a multi-account strategy, establish SRE practices, and partner with Cybersecurity and Identity teams to secure cloud operations.

You will manage data centers, optimization of cloud spend, and executive reporting on cost trends and platform health, aligning with studio engineering needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure and cloud engineering.
• 5+ years leading teams including managers.
• Experience owning enterprise-scale AWS environments and end-to-end migrations.
• Governance ownership at scale across Landing Zone, Control Tower, multi-account structure, tagging, and policy enforcement.
• FinOps leadership with multi-million-dollar cloud budget.
• Platform engineering leader with customer-focused approach.
• Security-forward—partnered with cybersecurity and identity teams to harden cloud estate.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year cloud strategy and roadmap, with a self-service platform.
• Own the on-premises to AWS migration end-to-end and ensure business outcomes.
• Manage retained data centers; run hybrid estate as a single platform.
• Lead a customer-first platform organization for secure, modular components.
• Establish and operate Site Reliability Engineering, including SLOs and incident management.
