Job summary

Acuity Insurance seeks a Systems Engineer to design, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure platforms, owning IaC and CI/CD pipelines. The role advances our cloud strategy, modernizes infrastructure, and ensures secure, compliant, scalable solutions that support the business.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in operations or security, hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell, and a collaborative mindset to work across teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of practical experience in computer operations, applications and/or technical support or information security.
• Experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and IaC pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated testing, security scanning, and promotion strategies.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and provide audit trails for changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS.
• Develop and operate IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell with modular patterns.
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for provisioning, validation, and deployment.
• Integrate pipelines with source control and enforce governance via automation.
