Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to join a growing team supporting a large-scale hybrid Microsoft Azure environment. The role emphasizes standardizing and modernizing cloud infrastructure while maintaining on-premises systems.

You will work hands-on with Azure, Terraform, and Azure governance to design enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate has strong systems or infrastructure background, implementing enterprise-level infrastructure and sustaining production support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, cloud engineering, or hybrid infra.
• Hands-on Azure infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or similar IaC tooling.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Policy, management groups, subscriptions, RBAC, and governance.
• Strong Windows/Linux infrastructure knowledge including AD, DNS, backup, patching, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage standardized Azure environments for development, test, and production.
• Build reusable IaC with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Support Azure governance using Landing Zones, policy, and RBAC.
• Implement Azure infrastructure across compute, storage, identity, monitoring, and DR.
• Convert manual infrastructure into version-controlled IaC.
