Job summary

Candidly is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the design and evolution of our cloud platform, leveraging AWS and Azure to scale AI and SaaS products. You’ll partner with engineering leadership to set standards, improve reliability, and advance our automation and IaC practices.

In this role you’ll lead IaC, CI/CD pipelines, incident response, and multi-cloud strategies from a remote-first, globally distributed team. Strong communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE.
• Advanced AWS knowledge (EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, Route 53).
• Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• IaC experience with CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Remote work experience and ability to work independently.
• Azure experience across multi-cloud/multi-region environments.
• CI/CD pipelines expertise (CodePipeline, GitLab CI).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, Ansible.
• Monitoring/logging with CloudWatch, Datadog, Azure Monitor.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with engineering leadership to align infra with product goals.
• Own infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
• Automate SDLC processes to improve speed and reliability.
• Act as SME on cloud architecture, containers, observability.
• Lead incident responses and post-mortems with systemic improvements.
• Identify and close gaps proactively.
