Amentum seeks a Mid-Level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support DoD cloud initiatives at Colorado Springs or Huntsville. You will migrate, design, and optimize cloud solutions across private, public, and hybrid environments with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability.

The role requires DoD clearance, cloud certifications, and hands-on experience with IAAS/PAAS/SaaS, RHEL/Windows Server, and cybersecurity best practices. On-site with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of directly related experience
• Understand cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience with enterprise server OS (RHEL 7/8, Windows Server 2019+)
• Experience implementing cybersecurity best practices
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Migrate functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid clouds
• Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions
• Identify appropriate cloud providers and size networks
• Ensure cloud networks are scalable and responsive
• Implement security, fault tolerance, and DR capabilities
• Provide architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Collaborate with engineers and platform operations for implementation
