Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for assignments at Schriever Space Force Base, CO or Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role involves designing and migrating to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures to support a DoD program.

Candidates must have cloud experience, IAAS/PAAS/SAAS familiarity, and DoD 8570 IAT II certification. A DoD Secret clearance is required for employment continuity.

Qualifications

1+ year of directly related cloud infrastructure experience.
Experience with IAAS/PAAS/SAAS delivery models.
DoD security clearance eligibility and DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Responsibilities

Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions.
Identify appropriate cloud providers and size cloud networks.
Ensure cloud networks are scalable and secure.
Support migration to private, public, and hybrid clouds.
Build infrastructure automation for rapid updates.
Provide architectural vision and roadmaps with engineers.
