Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Top-Secret cleared Cloud Developer to join the Washington, DC team. You will lead cloud architecture across enclaves, implement automation via DevSecOps, and support migrating on-premises apps to cloud environments.

The role involves designing scalable cloud solutions, optimizing performance and uptime, and delivering secure cloud services with cross-functional collaboration. On-site schedule typical; opportunity to shape national-level systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; substitute years of experience if needed
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.) and cloud migration
• Ability to design and implement cloud architectures across multiple enclaves
• Experience with IaC and automation
• Familiarity with DevSecOps security practices and documentation

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models (PaaS/IaaS/SaaS/DaaS)
• Implement automation for cloud resources with DevSecOps
• Assess applications for cloud deployment and migration
• Design strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization
• Ensure secure cloud environments and uptime design
• Develop new cloud software and enhancements
• Present solutions and drive continuous improvement
