Job summary

INNOVIM Defense Services is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract. This on-site role is based at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO, with some travel to Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.

Remote work is not available. You will migrate functions to private, public, and hybrid clouds, design cloud solutions, ensure security, scale services, and implement automation, disaster recovery, and compliance measures in a

Qualifications

1+ years of directly related experience.
Understanding of cloud delivery models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
Experience with enterprise server operating systems (RHEL 7/8; Windows Server 2019+).
Experience implementing cybersecurity best practices.
DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.
Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Specialize in migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
Design, plan and implement client-specific cloud solutions.
Identify appropriate cloud providers and ensure properly sized cloud networks.
Scale cloud services to meet growing demands and monitor usage.
Implement security strategies, fault tolerance, DR and failover capabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
Build infrastructure automation to enable rapid delivery of updates.
Provide architectural vision, strategy and roadmap with engineers and operations staff.
