Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Cloud Developer in Washington, DC to design and deliver cloud architectures across multiple enclaves, implementing automation with DevSecOps best practices. You will migrate applications to the cloud, enable cloud capabilities, and contribute to cloud security and cost optimization.

The role requires extensive cloud experience, a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and a strong background in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with major cloud service providers (e.g.: Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, or Google).
• Experience deploying and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Azure ARMs Templates.
• Implementing and maintaining security best practices for cloud environments.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Establishing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for cloud resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
• Analyze applications to identify platforms to move, migrate, or deploy into a cloud environment.
• Design and implement cloud applications, migrate on-premises apps to the cloud, and ensure secure cloud environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field
