Job summary

LevelUP HCS is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to own and operate production infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments. The role requires hands-on work with Windows and Linux servers, AWS services, virtualization (VMware/OpenStack), and on-call support for mission-critical trading systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Infrastructure Operations or Production Infrastructure experience.
• Strong administration and troubleshooting with Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Experience in high-availability production environments.
• Hands-on with physical data centers and enterprise hardware.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancers, storage, and virtualization.
• Production experience with AWS and related services; VMware/OpenStack familiarity.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and NGINX in production.
• Knowledge of secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) and security hardening.
• Familiarity with change-management processes and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production, UAT, dev, and DR infrastructure across data centers and cloud.
• Monitor health, capacity, availability, and performance; identify operational risks.
• Respond to alerts and incidents; perform root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Perform infrastructure changes under change-management and runbooks.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure inventory, configuration records, and documentation.
• Partner with SRE and other teams to improve monitoring, automation, and visibility.
• Participate in on-call/escalation rotation for mission-critical systems.
• Own issues through resolution rather than transferring them.
