Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a results-driven Recruiter to support high-volume, technical hiring for cloud and infrastructure roles based in the United States. This contract position is 100% onsite out of Herndon, VA, with a rapid ramp-up and close collaboration with hiring managers.

You will conduct intake with recruiters, source candidates, screen and move strong candidates through the interview process, and meet aggressive hiring goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months-1 year of recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in goal-driven recruiting environments.
• Ability to conduct intake conversations with hiring managers.
• Strong communication with candidates and stakeholders.
• Proficient with ATS or similar recruiting platforms.
• Comfort working with internal and external candidates.
• Experience recruiting for technical roles including SDE is a plus.
• Familiarity with Boolean sourcing techniques.
• Experience in cloud, infrastructure or engineering recruiting.
• Thrives in a fast-paced hiring demand environment.
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for cloud and infrastructure roles across the United States.
• Partner with hiring managers and lead recruiters on intake and role requirements.
• Develop sourcing strategies from defined goals and timelines.
• Perform high-volume candidate sourcing via multiple channels.
• Screen and engage candidates with direct conversations to assess fit.
• Manage candidate journey and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Meet or exceed recruiting and sourcing targets.
• Share best practices and market insights with the team.
• Use ATS and recruiting tools to track progress and records.
• Support technical recruiting needs including SDE roles.
• Adjust responsibilities during ramp-up as training milestones are met.
• Contribute to a collaborative, engaging team culture.
