Job summary

Hebbia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to own and optimize our AWS footprint end-to-end. You will design multi-account architectures, implement infrastructure as code, and drive cost efficiency and security across our platform.

You will build the developer platform, improve CI/CD, and collaborate with product engineering to ensure scalable, compliant systems for financial services customers. The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and enterprise readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure at a venture-backed startup or top technology firm.
• Deep expertise with infrastructure-as-code tooling and production estate managed entirely in code.
• Production-grade scripting or backend language for automation: Python, Go, or similar.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline expertise and ability to improve dev velocity while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Own Hebbia's AWS footprint: multi-account architecture, networking, IAM, and the container orchestration layer our services run on.
• Define infrastructure as code with review, testing, and versioning standards
• Own cloud cost and capacity: model growth, right-size infrastructure, and automate cost controls
• Build and own the developer platform: pipelines, ephemerna and preview environments, and dev tooling
• Continuously improve CI/CD so teams ship quickly and safely, with measurable pipeline metrics
• Harden infrastructure for security and compliance to enterprise standards
• Architect for scale readiness: multi-region, isolation, and growth headroom for enterprise deployments
• Partner with product engineering to co-design infrastructure
• Evaluate and integrate new infra tech that improves scalability or velocity
