Job summary

ICF seeks a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure for a federal technology program. You will build multi-cloud landing zones using IaC, GitHub Actions, and DevSecOps practices, enforcing guardrails and security controls in production.

Reporting to the Cloud / Enterprise Architecture Lead, you will work across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, integrating platform logs and monitoring, and collaborating with identity and cybersecurity teams to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering or platform operations.
• 3+ years deploying cloud landing zones in production (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• 2+ years implementing IaC using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage multi-cloud landing zones across Azure, AWS, and GCP with IaC and guardrails.
• Implement infrastructure and policy as code using IaC templates, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain system integrations using APIs, SDKs, and event streams with proper secrets management.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop for remote access scenarios.
• Manage DNS‑as‑code for agency platforms and services.
• Integrate platform logs, alerts, and risk signals into central monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with security teams to ensure Zero Trust alignment.
• Maintain documentation of cloud architectures and runbooks.
• Resolve complex cloud platform issues escalated by operations.
