Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud foundations across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role emphasizes IaC, automation, and cost/security optimization.

You will collaborate with client IT, write Terraform/Ansible scripts, support DevOps pipelines, and implement monitoring with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus. On-call rotations and system reliability are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
• Strong networking, Windows and Linux systems knowledge.
• College degree required; cloud-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated scripts to deploy cloud resources using IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Assist DevOps teams by supporting developers in building pipelines for automated delivery.
• Maintain consistency across environments using immutable infrastructure principles.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance and plan capacity.
• Diagnose and resolve complex cloud-related outages with minimal disruption.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Datadog, CloudWatch, or Prometheus.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support production services and perform maintenance.
