Job summary

Appnovation is hiring AWS Cloud Platform Engineers to build and own the platform foundation, including accounts, networking, identity, and infrastructure-as-code. Role focuses on Infrastructure & IaC and CI/CD & Runtime Deployment across AWS services and agent orchestration.

You will design multi-account environments, implement secure VPCs, IAM boundaries, and reusable Terraform/AWS CDK modules, while enabling automated promotion and secure runtime deployment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ years of cloud/DevOps experience with 4+ years building production AWS environments.
• Proficient in Terraform and/or AWS CDK/CloudFormation, writing reusable modules.
• Deep knowledge of AWS IAM, including cross-account access and service control policies.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking: VPC design, DNS, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway.

Responsibilities

• Account and Environment Foundation: design multi-account AWS structure with guardrails and SCPs.
• Networking: build secure VPC designs and private connectivity.
• Identity Boundaries: define IAM roles and least-privilege access for platforms and pipelines.
• Reusable IaC Modules: build and maintain Terraform/AWS CDK modules for reuse.
• Build Pipelines: design and own CI/CD pipelines to build, test, scan, and publish agent containers to ECR.
• Environment Promotion: automate promotion from dev to test to production with gates and versioning.
• Runtime Deployment: configure and deploy agents to AgentCore Runtime with scaling and secrets handling.
• Golden Path Templates: create starter repos and templates for consistent agent setup.
• Security and Compliance: implement encryption, logging, tagging, image scanning, and audit requirements.
• Documentation and Enablement: write module docs and runbooks to avoid single-person dependency.
