Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, TX seeks a Carrier Sales Representative to source capacity and actively manage HRHV freight for cloud customers. You’ll negotiate rates, dispatch freight, track shipments, and respond to issues with carriers and internal teams to keep loads moving safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have freight brokerage experience, strong carrier relationships, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with freight dispatch and carrier sales.
• Familiarity with high-value, time-sensitive freight.
• Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems and pricing of carrier services.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and secure carrier capacity for available freight.
• Dispatch shipments and provide complete load information to carriers.
• Maintain carrier and driver communications throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Monitor loads for on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Collaborate with Operational Account Managers to resolve issues and adjust plans as needed.
