Job summary

DSV is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative, Cloud Freight Operations in Lancaster, TX. You will source capacity, negotiate rates, dispatch loads, and track shipments, ensuring HRHV freight meets service and security requirements.

You will work with Operational Account Managers and internal teams to keep freight moving, develop a reliable carrier network, monitor market conditions, and provide market intelligence to support pricing and decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, dispatch, carrier sales, or related field; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with TMS, dispatch, carrier sales, or brokerage ops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate with, and secure qualified transportation carriers and drivers.
• Dispatch shipments and communicate load information, requirements, and times.
• Maintain carrier readiness and documentation for dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor shipments, track progress, and manage exceptions.
• Build and maintain carrier relationships to improve capacity and reliability.
• Provide pricing, capacity information, and market intelligence to support decisions.
• Ensure compliance with carrier and customer requirements for HRHV freight.
