Job summary

Summit 7 Systems seeks a Cloud Engineer (Escalations) to join our Huntsville area team with remote options. You will serve as the technical escalation point for the service desk, resolving advanced Microsoft 365 and Azure issues, and driving changes across deployments and upgrades.

The role emphasizes collaboration, certifications, and maintaining service levels while delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions for our defense-focused clients.

Qualifications

Security+ is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to identify, design, and document technical processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.
Serve as a technical escalation point for the service desk, resolving complex Microsoft 365 and Azure issues.
Lead planning and execution of technical changes, including deployments and upgrades, with clear timelines.
Monitor ticket backlog, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements with other engineers.
Maintain KPIs and ensure tickets meet SLAs; pursue ongoing certifications to expand expertise.
