Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for DNS & Cloud Infrastructure. You will build and operate distributed systems, delivery of IaC, and cloud automation across data centers.

The role requires 3+ years Python backend, strong Linux, experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools. You’ll join a high-availability team that values security, reliability, and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend Python development experience with cloud architecture.
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud provisioning at scale.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Travis CI.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, Load Balancing, TCP/IP, HTTP.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms.
• Develop and operate resilient distributed systems across data centers.
• Write microservices on containerization frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker.
• Participate in on-call rotation to keep services available and perform rapid incident response.
• Contribute to open source tech and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
