Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cloud Developer Manager to lead the development, deployment, and operations of cloud-native apps across Commercial Cloud and AWS GovCloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support mission requirements.

With 10+ years of related experience, you will drive modernization, automation, and cloud adoption while upholding best practices in security and governance in a government-facing

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in a relevant field.
• Experience: 10+ years in related roles including cloud development and leadership.
• Technical: AWS Commercial Cloud and AWS GovCloud; IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation); CI/CD; DevSecOps; containers; scripting; Agile; team leadership.
• Security clearance: Secret (or ability to obtain) and US citizenship.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management for regulated/government cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the development, deployment, and operational support of cloud-native applications and infrastructure across Commercial Cloud and AWS GovCloud environments.
• Collaborate with software developers, cloud engineers, DevSecOps, cybersecurity professionals, and stakeholders to deliver cloud capabilities and mission support.
• Drive modernization, automation, and cloud adoption strategies while maintaining technical excellence and accountability.
• Utilize AWS services, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containers, scripting, cloud monitoring, and Agile practices.
