Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to maintain critical data center hardware, networks, and systems. You will diagnose and repair server components, address network issues, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous service for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience or related IT experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Preferred knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and network design.

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations and hardware break-fix across components.
• Troubleshooting network issues and responding to incidents affecting service availability.
• On-call duties and participation in maintenance and change management activities.
• Contributing to documentation and process improvements based on issue analysis.
• Assisting with interviewing, training, and onboarding new team members.
