Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking aTechnical Writer to craft clear design and test documentation for cloud, hybrid, and IT systems. You will translate complex IT information into user-friendly documents while meeting US federal standards.

The role can be performed remotely within the United States and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicants should have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years in IT/cloud writing.
• Familiarity with US government documentation standards (NIST, SIPH).
• Strong writing and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud, hybrid and IT systems.
• Ensure documentation meets federal standards.
• Translate testing criteria into detailed test plans and support testing processes.
• Write, edit, and proofread documents to client requirements and deadlines.
• Develop templates and collaborate with engineers and clients for graphics and presentation elements.
• Maintain a library of templates and documents and ensure configuration management.
