Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or commensurate experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, GoLang, and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with databases such as Mongo, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, and IAM.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Full Stack Development is a plus.
• Datadog dashboard observability.
• Effective communication, Results orientation, Learning agility, Digital fluency, Customer centricity, Cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create scalable, reliable backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with front-end, product, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Integrate databases and external services with focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud/local deployments.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, software, and tools.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement fixes with developers.
• Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for system software and subsystems.
• Analyze designs to determine coding and integration activities.
• Write and execute testing plans and documentation; debug issues.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user manuals.
