Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Six to eight years of relevant experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java Spring Boot
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices from scratch
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio containerization
• Some experience with Kafka open‑source streaming
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra open‑source databases
• ReactJS web‑development experience is good to have
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is good to have
• Cloud infrastructure experience is good to have

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, develop, operate, and maintain best-in-class software experiences
• Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain products
• Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code
• Create optimal designs adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance
• Analyze failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements
• Make design and coding decisions with customer experience in mind
• Apply feedback from code reviews to meet standards
• Conduct code reviews and guide engineering best practices and compliance
• Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices
• Embed software reliability engineering standards into development standards
• Embrace emerging technology and contribute to technology-transformation best practices
• Contribute to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Critically review, prioritize, and size tasks for incremental delivery
• Anticipate and communicate blockers and delays before escalation
