Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering
• 8 years' experience in software design and development with architecture/technical leadership
• 5 years with Cloud-native architecture and data pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, Zookeeper, Redis)
• 5 years with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB)
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Datadog)
• 5 years leading full-stack development including backend, APIs, frontend, ops
• 5 years designing & implementing scalable backend services and APIs
• 5 years frontend architecture with ReactJS
• Experience with AI-assisted development and responsible AI practices
• 4 years designing enterprise integrations using APIs/messaging
• 5 years architecting multi-tenant SaaS on AWS/GCP/Azure
• 5 years designing resilient SaaS services across tenants/geographies
• 4 years modeling data for analytics and workforce planning
• 4 years establishing architecture standards and guiding reviews
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting across processes and releases
• Experience with GitHub/Jenkins CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud-native architecture and best practices for software development.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Oversee architecture/design/development of multiple product lines.
• Drive CI/CD and test-driven product development.
• Communicate designs/architectures to varied audiences.
• Maintain forward-thinking tech posture with emerging tech.
• Apply SOA and microservices for scalable cloud services.
• Ensure adherence to architectural vision and product goals.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business needs into architecture roadmaps.
• Define and govern API strategy, contracts across services.
• Evaluate third-party tools/technologies for product and infra needs.
• Drive security-by-design with threat modeling and secure coding standards.
• Own technical debt strategy and roadmapping reductions.
• Drive capacity planning and performance budgets for cloud services.
• Document architecture with ADRs, RFCs, and diagrams (C4).
• Contribute to cloud cost optimization balancing performance and cost.
• Participate in P1 incident calls and provide architecture guidance when needed.
