Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive cloud-based platform development, leading design, development, testing, publishing, and support of products with a global engineering team.

You will champion CI/CD, ensure high-quality code with unit tests, and mentor peers while influencing architectural decisions to improve productivity, efficiency, and solution robustness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of design and programming large-scale applications through all stages of SDLC.
• Proven track record delivering complex features end-to-end.
• 2 years mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction within a squad.
• Strong Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate) experience.
• REST API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT, microservices patterns.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle) plus NoSQL stores; cloud experience a plus.
• 3 years in consuming LLM APIs or integrating AI features into production.
• 3 years with GIT/SVN, 3 years with Docker/Kubernetes, and 3+ years with CI tools (Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Excellent teamwork, self-learning, and clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate feature design and identify architecture/performance risks.
• Translate requirements into actionable implementation tasks.
• Develop features with best practices aligned to product architecture.
• Ensure quality via unit tests, automation, and performance checks.
• Guide design for operations, deployment, and sustainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Communicate risks and issues to stakeholders and team members.
• Collaborate with architects and leads to refine feature design.
• Support documentation and onboarding for new team members.
• Assist in planning estimates, dependencies, risks, and sequencing tasks.
