Job summary

Verint is seeking an experienced Architect to drive the technical roadmap for cloud-based platforms and applications. You will lead design, development, testing, publishing, and support while actively coding in new areas to bootstrap teams.

You will mentor engineers, define API strategies, ensure security-by-design, and collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural direction with product goals across enterprise SaaS offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in software design and development with architecture experience in enterprise SaaS.
• 5+ years cloud-native architecture and data pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, Redis.
• 5+ years relational and NoSQL DB experience (Postgres, DynamoDB).
• Hands-on full-stack leadership including backend services, APIs, frontend apps.
• Strong frontend guidance with ReactJS and UX considerations.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and source code control.
• Ability to communicate complex designs to varied audiences.
• Background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud-native architecture and best practices for software development.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams across product lines.
• Lead design, development, testing, and publishing of cloud-based products.
• Advise on API strategy, standards, and contracts across services.
• Ensure security-by-design and compliance alignment (SOC 2, GDPR).
• Oversee CI/CD, architecture documentation, and ADRs.
• Mentor senior engineers on patterns and decision making.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business needs into roadmaps.
• Guide cost optimization and performance budgets for cloud services.
