Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Architect to drive the technical roadmap and lead cloud-native product development across multiple SaaS lines. You will mentor engineers, define API standards, and guide architectural decisions in a global, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes security-by-design, scalable services, and continuous delivery practices. You will collaborate with Product Management and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering or Technology degree program or equivalent experience
• 8 years' experience in software design and development in enterprise SaaS products
• 5 years experience with Cloud-native architecture and data pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Apache Kafka, Zookeeper, Redis, or similar technologies
• 5 years experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, DynamoDB and others)
• Familiarity with application monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and log aggregation tools like Datadog
• 5 years experience leading full-stack software development efforts as part of architect's responsibility
• 5 years hands-on development experience with Java and/or NodeJS
• 5 years experience designing modern frontend applications using ReactJS
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and guiding responsible AI adoption in software architecture
• 4 years experience designing integrations across enterprise systems using APIs and event-driven patterns
• 5 years experience designing multi-tenant SaaS on AWS, GCP or Azure
• 5 years experience designing resilient SaaS services across tenants and geographies
• 4 years experience designing data models, reporting structures, analytics capabilities, or operational data flows
• 4 years experience establishing architecture standards and guiding design reviews
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong troubleshooting
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins or CI/CD tools
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Background screening completion required

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud-native architecture and implement best practices for software development
• Provide technical leadership to development team members
• Drive the technical architecture, design, and development of various product lines
• Drive continuous integration and delivery of product using test-driven product development
• Communicate designs and architectures to diverse audiences
• Maintain a forward-thinking approach with new technologies
• Apply SOA and Microservices to architect scalable cloud services
• Ensure adherence to architectural vision and product goals
• Mentor senior engineers on architectural best practices and design patterns
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
• Define and govern API strategy, standards, and contracts
• Evaluate third-party tools, platforms, and technologies
• Drive security-by-design practices and compliance alignment
• Own technical debt strategy and roadmapping
• Drive capacity planning and performance engineering for cloud services
• Maintain architecture documentation (ADRs, RFCs, diagrams)
• Contribute to cloud cost optimization and incident support actions
