Job summary

Steel Point Solutions seeks an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML models that drive data‑driven initiatives in a government and commercial context. You will build algorithms, work with large datasets, and integrate AI/ML systems with existing infrastructure.

Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders, you will implement scalable solutions, monitor performance, and maintain rigorous documentation and compliance with ethics and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including hands-on model development and deployment.
• 3+ years of experience with data processing and manipulation using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• Proven experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Active Top Secret SCI Poly Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and train ML models, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
• Prepare and preprocess large datasets for training and validation.
• Implement and optimize ML algorithms using industry-standard libraries.
• Deploy ML models into production environments with scalability and reliability.
• Monitor model performance and iteratively improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for models and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with AI/ML advancements and apply new techniques.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions adhere to ethics and regulatory requirements.
