Job summary

Catapult Federal Services seeks a Sr. AI/ML Engineer III to advance a large data project with a highly cleared customer. You will analyze complex data, build and deploy AI/ML models, and provide technical guidance on security architecture and identity management integrations.

This role requires active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, and offers a hybrid work setup in Tysons Corner/Herndon area. You will collaborate with senior leaders and engineers to deliver secure AI/ML solutions in production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in AI/ML roles.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience using open-source models with justification for proprietary options.
• Expert in two or more AI/ML methods: Generative AI/LLMs, NLP, RAG, neural networks.
• 8+ years with two or more: Python, R, Anaconda, Numpy, TensorFlow, Keras, SciKit-Learn, Postgres.
• 8+ years designing data architecture and services for AI/ML; experience with DevSecOps CI/CD.
• Experience designing AI/ML solutions in classified AWS cloud environments (IL6+).
• Data analytics on program or system activities; automating processes.
• Strong experience designing, developing, deploying containerized AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to assess performance or identify patterns.
• Build, train, operate, and maintain AI/ML models in production.
• Apply ML techniques to data related to immigration.
• Present results to diverse audiences in reports or presentations.
• Support security architecture and integration of identity management technologies.
• Advise leadership and executives on security and domain priorities.
