Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models addressing national security programs. You will train and retrain systems, monitor performance, and drive improvements in scalable production environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in applied ML, strong Python/Java/C/R skills, and expertise with PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of applied ML experience on complex programs.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 extra years of ML experience may substitute for Master’s.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and operationalizes ML algorithms for mission needs.
• Train, retrain, deploy, monitor, and improve models based on feedback.
• Lead geographically distributed teams and serve as primary technical contact.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and governance across pipelines.
