Job summary

Peraton seeks multiple Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Engineers to design, develop, test, and operationalize algorithms for mission needs. Models learn from data to generate predictions aligned with client requirements.

Responsibilities include training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of models, with leadership for geographically distributed teams and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Advanced Mathematics / AI / Data Science / Computer Science / Deep Learning.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of machine learning experience may substitute a Master’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in applied machine learning on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and operationalizes algorithms to solve complex business challenges and mission requirements.
• Builds models to learn from data and generate predictions aligned with customer-defined business logic.
• Train, retrain, deploy, schedule, monitor, and improve models based on feedback.
• Lead geographically distributed teams and act as primary technical contact.
